Cassandra Griffin
Creative Project Director
Cassie is a dedicated advocate for young parents and maternal health, combining her lived and professional experiences in public health, community engagement, and program development. Cassie completed her bachelors of science from Edgewood College in Organizational Behavior while also balancing the demands of parenthood and work. Her experience navigating higher education and the health system as a young parent fuels her passion for supporting others on similar journeys.
As a doula and owner of Honey+Hive, Cassie has spent the last decade supporting parents through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, advocating for maternal health and wellness at every stage. She played a key role in developing the Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program at Public Health Madison & Dane County and spent six years serving on the Nurse Family Partnership Community Advisory Board.
Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Cassie is deeply committed to advancing perinatal health and family support systems. In her role at Young Parent Collective, she has helped develop creative projects, outreach strategies, and funding efforts to amplify the voices of young parents. She believes that all parents deserve access to quality care, reproductive education, and a full understanding of their rights. Her work is driven by the belief that every parent deserves the resources, support, and community they need to thrive.
